Jimmy Fund/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Since 1947, Dana Farber and its Jimmy Fund have been committed to providing children and adults with the best cancer treatment available while also developing tomorrow’s cures through cutting-edge research. Dana Farber’s commitment to both research and patient care is unique among cancer centers and results in an extraordinary level of collaboration between scientists and clinicians by speeding the translation of laboratory discoveries into lifesaving treatments for patients all over the world.

The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp

Founded in 1988 by Paul Newman, the Hole In The Wall Gang Camp is dedicated to providing “a different kind of healing” to seriously ill children and their families through a variety of year-round programs. The camp delivers fun, friendship and a healthy dose of mischief through its signature summer program and weekend sessions at its camp facility in Ashford, Conn. The camp also provides outreach services to hospitals, clinics and communities across the Northeast. There is no fee to attend the camp or to receive the non-profit’s services.

This non-profit has a global impact through its participation in the SeriousFun Children’s Network of affiliated camps modeled after Paul Newman’s dream.

Pediatric Oncology at Hollings Cancer Center

Combining patient care and research, Hollings Cancer Center holds the distinction of being a National Cancer Institute Designated Cancer Center. Hollings brings together over 180 physicians and scientists who are driving the discoveries that will lead to tomorrow’s treatments. Their research is the force behind delivering medical advances to children struggling with cancer and their families. Contributions from C&S Charities’ South Carolina Golf Classic help bring the latest diagnostic and treatment options to children.

Feeding America

With over 200 member food banks serving every country in the united States, Feeding America is the nations’s largest domestic hunger-relief charity. It provides food and nutritional support to more than 12 million children each year through its BackPack Program, Kids Cafe and the School Pantry Program. For over 15 years, the BackPack Program has provided nutritious, tasty and easy-to-prepare weekend meals to children experiencing food insecurity issues.

No Kid Hungry

Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry is working to end child hunger in America by providing effective nutrition programs like school breakfast and summer meals to those in need by partnering with various community leaders and organizations. Through its Cooking Matter campaign, Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry educates low income families on how to buy and cook healthy, delicious, affordable meals. Share Our Strength/No Kid Hungry champions the issue of eliminating childhood hunger as a national priority.

Food Bank of Western Massachusetts

Western Massachusetts Food Bank

Since 1982, The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts has been feeding our neighbors in need and leading the community to end hunger. We provide food to our members in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampden and Hampshire counties. These independent pantries, meal sites and shelters are on the front lines of emergency food assistance in our region, providing sustenance to individuals, families, seniors, children and people with disabilities (including veterans) to lead healthy and meaningful lives.
